Things to Do

You can't come to Ballina without getting sand between your toes at one of the nearby patrolled surfing beaches all within a 5 minute drive. Sandy riverways such as The Spit, The Serpentine, Meldrum Park and Shaws Bay offer family friendly swimming as an alternative to the surf. Why not visit the Ballina Memorial Pool and its Waterslide or go for a stroll along North Wall and watch the dolphins and passing whales.

Renowned for its ideal fishing, wonderful hinterland drives and national parks there is always something to do in Ballina..
